WebApr 9, 2024 · I recently upgraded to a Scotty 1099 electric downrigger after using Penn manual downriggers for years. I did not like the rod holder that came with the Scotty. The stainless steel rocket launchers works well with the Scotty swivel mount and I am much more comfortable operating the downrigger. WebI'm sure that the downrigger will be fine, it's a Scotty.
