WebJun 20, 2016 · Playing with the suggestion in previous reply, I wanted to share what worked for me. The "New Email" button appears just below the "FILE" tab. Click the tab icon on the top right of the Outlook main panel (see picture below). Click "Auto-hide Ribbon". Then click "Show Tabs and Commands". The "New Email" button disappeared.
