While BMW have moved to the TFT screen with the new GSA and other models, they have not adopted Apple Car Play or the Android equivalent but gone with their own app. WebMar 22, 2024 · Spoke to Garmin Support today. They were advised over the weekend that the new -058 part number with the completely redesigned software is in fact the new replacement - as of last week. The marketing material played up the ability to stream music on a phone, and specifically talked about iOS and Android, with the ability to select playlists on an iPhone, but not on an Android phone.
