Of course, whether cross tapering actually works at all is another question and probably very individual. Six week steps is quite conservative for 8 months, which can be a good and safe thing, but you might benefit from smaller steps that last a little shorter time.

Finally I was able to do a very slow tapering lasting 4 years, and I was able to stop them.
